DIY Holiday Digital Scrapbook Pages

Hi everyone!

My name is Candice Palmer. I have been a professional photographer for fourteen years, a mom for eleven years, and a lover of all things crafty pretty much my entire life. All of these interests kind of collided into an obsession with scrapbooking a few years ago.

Through the years I have worked as a contributing editor for Simple Scrapbooks magazine and have had fun adding to lots of scrapbooking publications. My work is currently featured at write.click.scrapbook.com.

I’m excited to get to share a couple of ideas with you today!

Well I don’t know about the rest of you, but here in Oklahoma we’re finally getting a bit of chill in the air and I’m starting to get excited about the upcoming holidays!

So while looking through some festive photos from last year I decided to create a couple of DIY Holiday Digital Scrapbook Pages.

I’m a pretty simple scrapper and I often copy my own schemes when I repeat pages to make things easier. I have three children and anything that helps me simplify is where it’s at.

So for today I want to share a super simple sketch and my two takes on it.

For starters, here’s the sketch:

Simple and sweet. I like my photos to be the highlight of my scrapbooking pages, so I used an enlargement-sized portrait for this sketch.

Okay, here’s take number one:

And take number two:

Same scheme. Very different layout. And that’s what I like about schemes.

Now if you’re interested, the amazing and lovely Michelle Underwood (who designed all of the adorable digi products I used on my layouts today) would like to give away some of her cute cute kits to a whole bunch of Crafting Chicks readers.

So, if you will reply to this post with your name and your favorite trick-or-treat candy, I will choose five winners who will each win both of the following kits:

That Was Yesterday:

and Vintage Holiday Memories:

Giveaway is closed.

Giveaway will be open until midnight 10/5 and winners will be announced Wednesday. Winners will be contacted via email and will have 72 hours to claim the prize.

Thanks for letting me stop by! 🙂
