Spring Garland from Lolly Jane {Spring Fever Series}
So lucky to have our favorite Twin Sisters guest post today! We love everything about these two girls!
Hey there all you crafty chicks! We are twin sisters Kelli & Kristi of Lolly Jane and we are pretty excited to be back with our fav chickies to share an easy (and super inexpensive!) spring garland that you can whip up in 10 minutes or less… and for under $5. Holla!
To get started you’ll need 2-3 packages of egg vase fillers, a sewing needle and thread. (Psst! We snagged our glittery eggs at Dollar Tree for $1/package- there’s 35 cute little eggs in each pack. Hello smokin’ deal!) We tried to string it with bakers twine buuuuut didn’t have a big enough needle on hand. Boo. #craftfail LOL!
Making these is a cinch! Thread your needle then string through each egg lengthwise. Repeat 29 more times (we have 30 eggs per garland but how many you use depends on how short or long your mantel is.)
We made 2 strands (green and blue but our dollar store also carries pink and yellow) then tie the ends together for easy hanging!
That’s it! Pair with a few strands of pink and yellow pom pom ribbon and hang.
A simple but cheery piece of decor sure to brighten your space!
We clipped our free Easter subway art to a chicken wire frame and the colors of the printable look super cute with the glittery hues of the eggs.
We love how springy Kelli’s entryway is now, all spruced up with festive decor that’s easy to make, (like our pictured yarn wrapped carrots.)
For more crafts and spring/Easter decor, be sure to stop by Lolly Jane- you can keep up with us on FB, Insta or Pinterest for even more pretty things! (: Big thanks to our fav chickies for having us!
XOXO
Thanks LollyJaners! I picked up some eggs from the dollar store to make my own garlands, except my boys thought they were candy and ripped the packages open…boy were they disappointed!
Haha Nikkala! Poor kids… not a good surprise! 😉 Thanks to you and the other sweet chicky mommas for letting us be your guesties this week! (: Muah! XO
