Easy Homemade Wassail

This Easy Homemade Wassail recipe is almost too good to be true. You won’t believe how delicious it is, and yet so simple to make.

This recipe takes me back to those chilly winter nights of my youth. I remember rushing inside the house with freezing cold handstand feet. My mom would hand my siblings and I a mug full of this delicious wassail drink. All of us kid would sit around the table telling her about our snow adventures while we sipped this wassail until it was gone.

You could really call this a dump recipe because all you do is dump in a short list of ingredients and then simmer and you’re done.

And there’s a bonus to making this wassail.

You’re house will smell amazing as it simmers. You’ll have all the flavors of autumn and winter mixed together in one glorious pot.

But of course we make it to drink it, and it has got to be one of my favorite drinks of all time. It just tastes like Christmas time to me.
