  • Wood spoon
  • Iron

Directions:

Lay the Thanksgiving iron- on tacky side down and arrange so that it’s in the middle of the dish towel.

I’m using a Cricut Easy Press for this project but an iron works great too.

Place hot iron on top of the image until the image has fused to the dish towel.

Slowly pull the plastic backing off of the image. If parts of the image don’t stick to the cloth, place the plastic over the image and iron again.

Aren’t they adorable?! Your towels are now ready to embellish!

I had some extra fabric strips left over from another project and wanted to use them up. I love the rustic look of torn fabric strips and I knew they’d be perfect to tie this gift together. Of course you could use some cute ribbon too!

Attach a wood spoon to the dish towel and wrap everything up in a pretty bow. I love the contrast of the gold kitchen towel with the floral fabric, it’s just so pretty

Now your hostess gift is ready to give! Since these towels were so quick and inexpensive to make, I decided to make a few for some neighbors, teachers and friends. I love letting people know how grateful I am for them and what better time to do that than Thanksgiving?!

  1. What a wonderful idea! I love it! Bow, I know I’m not the only one drooling over those fabric scraps. Could you tell us the designer or fabric line that’s from?
