Advent Activities by KoJo Designs {Christmas Tradition Series}
We met Kirstin a couple years ago at SNAP! and she is much fun, plus she has some mad sewing skills!

Hey Crafting Chicks friends! I am Kirstin, half of the sister team that blogs at kojodesigns and Shiny Happy Sprinkles, and I am thrilled to be here today as part of this Christmas Traditions series!
We have a lo-ong list of Christmas traditions in our house- from an annual ornament exchange to making and enjoying special holiday recipes (my mom’s fudge, my dad’s green chile, my mother-in-law’s seven layer bars, my sister’s green chile cheese ball!) to always getting new jammies on Christmas Eve, to a whole list of special holiday movies that we watch each year, to baking a birthday cake for Jesus.
Our Christmas tradition that wraps all of these into one, however, is our Advent Calendar.
We fill each day’s pouch with a treat and an activity- and we make sure to hit all of the traditions I mentioned above (plus many lower-maintenace activities like sipping cocoa, listening to Christmas carols, and reading the Christmas story from the book of Luke in the Bible).
The free printables for our Advent Activities, plus a whole page of blank ones for you to add your family’s activities, are here.
Thanks for having us, Crafting Chicks! Friends, we have a ton of handmade gift ideas (like DIY metallic alphabet magnets, a tea wreath, a DIY clutch, polka dot cork letters to start) at kojodesigns- we’d love it if you’d stop on by!
super cute, kirstin..i LOVE advents! and i love how yours is so easily changeable for year to year. 🙂
I love this! I just ordered the Silhouette advent calendar and am on the hunt for ideas of how to put it together. I love this idea! Do you mind if I ask where you got those adorable little pouches?
Hi! What font did you use for the activities on the printable? I want the ones I create to be as adorable as yours!
