Easy French Dip Sandwiches
Easy French Dip Sandwiches
This recipe has become a family favorite! These Easy French Dip Sandwiches are pure comfort food.
We especially love making these french dip sandwiches in the fall and winter months. Not only do these sandwiches taste divine, but cooking up the beef all day makes our house smell so yummy!
My kids love this on Sundays and they often request it for a birthday or special occasion.
These french dip sandwiches are great to make when serving many guests, or for a large dinner party.
The Easy French Dip dipping sauce is so yummy too! Your family will love this main dish recipe.
Easy French Dip Sandwich Ingredients:
2 lb roast (I like the loin roasts-more tender)
Cooking Oil Spray
1 package beef onion soup mix
salt and pepper
2 cans beef broth
1 ½ cup water
Buns (we love large potato buns for these sandwiches)
Provolone Slices
Butter
Easy French Dip Sandwich Directions:
Spray the bottom of your crock pot with cooking spray. Heat on high your roast for 5 minutes on each side. Salt and pepper each side of your roast. Add in 1 package beef onion soup mix, beef broth, and water. Cook on low for 8 hours. This will make the meat really tender. Just get it started in the morning and you won’t have to think about dinner all day!
Right before serving add butter to the buns and toast them in the oven. Add your beef to the buns and a slice of cheese. Strain out some of the broth and serve in mini bowls for dipping.

This is comfort food at its best!
The beef is great to save as left overs for soup or tacos.
Sounds good. When you say to
heat on high the roast on both
sides, did you mean in the
crock pot or in a pan on the
stove first, then add to the
crock pot?
