Keeping kids busy is our number one goal. We love for them to be learning at the same time. That is one reason why we love these Halloween Paper Lantern printables. We get to enjoy some time to ourselves while the kids are using their fine motor skills to fold, cut, staple and hang their Halloween Paper Lanterns.

Our original Halloween Paper Lanterns have been used in classroom parties, preschool classes, and at home with siblings for years. But we wanted a to give you an option for an easy way for those littles to create!

What You’ll Need for Halloween Paper Lanterns:

• Orange, White and Green Cardstock
• Printed copies of our Halloween Paper Lantern Prints
• Scissors
• Stapler

How to Create Halloween Paper Lantern Prints:

1-Print the ghost, jack o’ lantern, and Monster on white, orange and green cardstock.

2-Fold the pattern in half length wise.

3-Using scissors, cut along the dotted lines, stopping where the lines end to give an inch of un-cut paper at the bottom and top of the lantern.

4-Fold the lantern around in cylinder fashion, stapling at the top and at the bottom.

5-Cut strips of cardstock from white, orange, and green cardstock (about 8 inches)

6-Use a stapler to staple the strip on both sides of the top of the lantern to create a handle.
