Follow this simple tutorial to make your own DIY Fall Leaf Garland.
Step 1:
Begin by downloading the Free Fall Leaf Printable here onto some colorful Autumn Cardstock. Then cut them out. I printed and cut enough leaves for each member of my family to write on each day November 1st until Thanksgiving.
Step 2:
Take a 3 Burlap Leave Shapes and stack them together. Place a small dab of hot glue under the top leaf to secure them together. Then add a dab of hot glue to the acorn and press onto the leaf stack.
Step 3:
Use hot glue to secure your leaves and acorn to some jute cording. Leave a space of 6-8 inches before hot gluing the next leaf stack. Repeat steps 2-3 to finish off your leaf garland.
If you wanted to add a little more interest to your garland, you could knot the jute cord inbetween each leaf.
Step 4:
Every day, starting November 1, have everyone in your family choose a leave to write 1 thing they are thankful for that day.
Then add to your Thankful Fall Leaf Garland using a clothespin.
Now you have a beautiful garland to display what you are thankful for this holiday season. You can add this to your mantel, or place the leaves on a table as a fun centerpiece for your thanksgiving table. This diy fall garland is so easy, you can find lots of ways to really make it your own.
