St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes
Top of the Mornin’ To Ya! Sharing some cute St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes with you! These delicious cupcakes are perfect to serve on March 17th.
I think St. Patrick’s day is so much fun! We have a few traditions of a green lunch or dinner, maybe a little treasure hunt, and wearing our green! Last year we made these cute cupcakes for our St. Patrick’s day dessert.

I found these green striped cupcake liners and shamrock toothpicks and it gave me the idea for these cute cupcakes. I also grabbed some chocolate gold coins.
I used my Key Lime Cupcake Recipe for our St. Patrick’s Cupcakes. They are so easy to make and yummy! You use a cake mix and fancy it up for this delicious cupcake recipe. Using a box cake mix makes it so your ingredients list is a lot smaller.
After the cupcakes cool at room temperature on your counter, add your frosting, green sprinkles, shamrock or gold coin. You could add gold sprinkles, mini marshmallows, and rainbow candy if you want as well.
You can use your favorite frosting recipe or store bought. I prefer the homemade cream cheese frosting from the Key Lime Cupcake Recipe refrenced above. I just add a little green food coloring to get the fun St. Patrick’s color. You can pipe the frosting if you want. It does give it a fun look.
A fun trick…to keep the cupcake liners nice and bright, try baking your cupcakes in plain white liners. When your cupcakes have cooled, you can add them to your festive cupcake liner.
