Must Have Lunch Supplies for Home Lunch

With 10 kids between the 3 of us Crafting Chicks, home lunch becomes no joke. We’ve put our heads together and found our Must Have Lunch Supplies for Home Lunch.

Most of our kids won’t eat school lunch. Most days we are scrambling to throw something together for them to eat. It becomes such a pain and struggle every morning.

But not anymore. We decided to get organized about lunchtime for our kids. Most of these things we’ve found on Amazon. We’ve provided affiliate links for ease in shopping. We make a small percentage if you click on these links, but it doesn’t cost you anything extra.

Meal Prep Containers

We’ve used meal prep containers before, but once we bought these, Meal Prep 3 Compartment Containers, we knew we hit the jackpot. The plastic is sturdy, but made of eco-friendly materials. These are a must have with picky eaters who don’t want food touching. (Yes, I have one of those.)

Sandwich Cutters

Some kids will eat a sandwich if you make it fun. We love these Sandwich Cutters to help add some variety to an run of the meal PB&J. You’re kids will love eating the different shapes and have fun seeing what you made each day.

Silicone Cupcake Cups & Mini Muffin Cups

We’ve found the easiest way to add a few more items to a lunch is by using either Silicone Cupcake Cups, or Mini Muffin Liners. You can see how we used them in our Lunch Ideas Week 1 post.

Vegetable Cutter Shapes Set

These Veggie Cutters are perfect for adding a little variety to a home lunch. Kids can even have fun using the cutters to make different shapes out of fruits, cheese, meats, or veggies.

Food Picks

Our kids LOVED these Animal Food Picks. Just adding one of these to a fruit cup or on a sandwich made a huge difference for them.

Edible Candy Eyes and Mouths

We’ve decided that anything with Edible Eyes or Edible Mouths are 100% more fun. Just having these in your stash will take the lunch up a notch. Believe us!

  1. Silicone muffin liners are such a pro-tip. I use them all the time even in the adult lunches!
Cheese and olives can be stored with taco meat and easily taken out before it gets a nuke in the microwave.
