You must look the part! Wear your favorite sunglasses, add a mustache and even a hat to help create your disguise. Once you are officially undercover, we can take our first case. Have kids create mysteries they need to solve! Look for clues and even gather fingerprints with Ella and Annie’s CSI method.
To capture your own fingerprint, you can lightly cover your finger in flour. Use a piece of the clear packing tape and press the flour covered finger onto the sticky part of the tape to capture your fingerprint. Stick the tape with the fingerprint against a piece of black paper to take a closer look!
If you are looking for a less messy approach to investigate fingerprints, try having your kiddos press their fingers into play dough. Once you have gathered your clues, make sure to take notes in the little journals you’ve included in your DIY Spy Kit.
