DIY Button Push Pins
Hey! It’s Kari, from Life PreKARIous. I have been super busy working on my office space lately and I am loving how it’s coming together! The latest edition was this coral frame that I turned into a small cork board. Did you know that coral stain is a thing?! I didn’t until about a week ago and it is amazing! I LOVE it! Of course, I needed some fancy new push pins to go with it, so I made these easy DIY button push pins!
Ever since I can remember, my dad has collected buttons…
So I raided his stash and picked out a few of my favorites and simply glued a tack to the back of each one.
I used epoxy because that is what I had and I wanted to be sure that they would be sturdy since I will probably be using them a lot.
Some of the buttons that look like this had to be trimmed on the back in order for the tack to lay flat. I used wire cutters.
They turned out great and it only took me about 5 minutes (not including drying time). I loved it so much, I made my mom a corkboard, too, and gave her a few of these cute push pins for Mother’s Day, along with some new pictures of my kiddos!
Stop by Life PreKARIous to see the other fun Mother’s Day stuff I’ve got going on!
