Have some spooky fun delivering treats this Halloween with these Halloween Coffin Treat Boxes.
We have been having such a fun time actually crafting with our hands. We have relied on printables to make our lives easier, but to actually use your hands and make things, is very therapeutic.
When I got this months box of goodies from Stampin’ Up, I couldn’t wait to jump in. I love Halloween, but mostly the cutesy side of it. So when I laid my eyes on the Monster Bash Paper and Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set, I was ready to create.
Just get a load of all those fun images. The Monster Bash Paper is just too good!
But my favorite part may have been these Googly Eyes! They are so much fun. I knew that I had to use these in my project.
Here’s how I made these adorable Halloween Coffin Treat Boxes.
Step 1:
Fold the Coffin Boxes. Set the bottoms aside for step 2.
Step 2:
The fun part. We are going to embellish the Coffin Box lids with our favorite monsters from the Monster Bash Paper.
I cut some stripes of paper about 1″ wide by about 3 ” long. I wanted to add a little tag detail to the stripes of paper, so I trimmed a triangle shape out of the bottom.
Glue those on with some Snail Adhesive.
Run some more adhesive down the center of the paper to secure this adorable Black Scallop Edged Ribbon.
Place your favorite monsters from the Monster Bash Paper, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Stampin’ Dimensionals really help the monster pop out, which becomes such a fun detail.
Next, add on some fun Monster Bash Enamel Shapes to add even more fun detail to your coffin treat boxes.
Step 3:
Fill the Halloween Coffin Treat Boxes with some candy and deliver.
