It sure is “ghouly” around here! My daughter and I are having a lot of fun making plans. Plans for Halloween and we just had to share this easy Halloween gift idea we came up with for teachers. Halloween is the most fun holiday of the entire year for us. We just have fun watching the kids get SO excited about everything the night brings. From deciding on their costumes, to the Halloween decorations, to trick or treating, the kids just have so much fun! And I love watching their eyes light up with excitement. Every year I don’t want the night to end. HA!
Although…funny thing is, candy isn’t really my thing. Go figure, I know. But I do love sweets. Yup! (Insert crazy, crazy face) Cupcakes and cookies are standard for us. So, we had to share our love of sweets and something “ghouly” with the teachers as a Halloween gift!
First, we decided to make brownies with ghosts on top. I don’t always make brownies but when I do, I use a box mix. Box mix for the WIN!!!
I just took a box brownie mix and added powdered sugar ghosts to the top of the brownies. You can use a ghost cookie cutter like the one HERE or HERE as the template for the ghost. Don’t you just love this “CREEP it real” kitchen towel? I bought it at my local grocery store. Never expected to find that!
Then, I loosely wrapped wax paper around it and added it to a clear bag.
Next, I added an orange nail polish and a super “ghouly” glitter ring.
I added the gift tag and voila, done! Halloween gift for your child’s teacher. You could also add a gift card for a mani-pedi or you can even put more “ghouly” things in the bag. Whatever you’d like!
I hope you have a great and FUN Halloween! ~April
