Hot Glue Glitter Word Art

I had so much fun working with Elmer’s Brand on this project. I was able to try out their new High Temp mini glue gun & Less Mess hot glue sticks. I found the perfect project to make! Hot glue glitter art.

This glue gun is my new favorite tool. The less mess glue sticks are the real deal. When making this word art, there were not messy strings to deal with, which I’m used to with my other hot glue gun. So this is a must have for my DIY glitter word art. To make the glitter wordart, choose a word you would love to display. I chose LOVE, HAPPY, and Je’Taime. You can hand draw your words, or I used the writing tool in Photoshop and created an 8×10 print. Don’t worry about it being perfect, the glitter hides flaws;)Get your glue gun ready, and in small sections pipe the hot glue along your letters. With each section, pipe the glue, add your glitter, press down lightly, and shake off the remaining glitter. Repeat this until you cover your whole word with glue and glitter. It drys right away. You can go back and touch up a few spots. But with this new hot glue stick…there wasn’t a stringy mess to clean up. I was impressed!
