Jell-O Popsicles

I’m excited to share the recipe for our new favorite summer treat. Jello-O Popsicles!

I got this recipe from my cute friend Emily. We were over one day and my girls gobbled these up. The Jell-O makes it so the popsicles don’t melt as quickly.

Here’s what you’ll need!Jell-O Popsicles

1 small box Jell-O (any flavor)
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid (can be the same flavor as your Jell-O or mix it up)
4 cups cold water

Dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup boiling water.

Add 1 cup sugar and 1 package Kool-Aid and stir to dissolve sugar. Add 4 cups cold water. Pour into small paper or plastic cups and put in the freezer. When they are partially frozen insert the popsicle sticks. Contiune until frozen.

Just pull the cups out of the freezer and you can run the cups under a little bit of water so you can slide the popsicle out easily.

The best part….no messy melted popsicles laying around. They can place the popsicle back in the cup and refreeze whatever they don’t eat. Super fun. Super yummy! Super easy! The toughest part is waiting for them to freeze!

Hope you are enjoying your summer so far!

Why do you add sugar? I thought I remembered my mom just using jello and freezing that no sugar or kool aid
