How to Create a Leprechaun Treasure Hunt
Step 1: Print and Cut Out Your Leprechaun Feet
Start by downloading and printing our printable leprechaun footprints onto white paper or laminate them for reuse. Cut out each footprint to create a trail of leprechaun footprints leading to the treasure.
Step 2: Leave a Trail of Mischief
Place the little leprechaun feet on the living room floor, up the stairs, across the counters, or even around the kitchen table. Make it look like a sneaky leprechaun has been running around causing all sorts of mischief!
Pro tip: Sprinkle a little green food coloring in the toilet bowl for a funny surprise—your kids will love it!
Step 3: Hide the Pot of Gold
At the end of the footprints, place a small pot of gold filled with gold coins, chocolate, or small little treats. You can also add a cute poem or riddle to make it even more magical.
Step 4: Set Up a DIY Leprechaun Trap (Optional)
For even more fun, encourage your kids to build their own DIY leprechaun trap using craft supplies, shoeboxes, or LEGOs. The idea is to try and catch the leprechaun before he escapes—though he always manages to leave behind some gold coins and a cheeky note!
