Love You Beary Much Valentine’s Mason Jar Gift

Happy 2016, friends! Hope your New Year has already been filled with fun, family and love. Speaking of love, if you didn’t know it, Valentine’s Day over at Shaken Together is kind of a big deal … it’s one of my favorite holidays! So, I couldn’t wait to share this Love You Beary Much Valentine’s Mason Jar Gift here with you today!

I mean … seriously. Is there anything cuter than that little bear shaped gift tag?! And you know I am a sucker for something yummy stuffed in a mason jar … so this may be one of my favorite DIY Valentine’s Day gifts ever!! Here is what you’ll need to make this “beary” cute gift 😉

Supplies

• Mason Jar
• Cinnamon Bears (I found these in the candy section at my local Target) or Gummy Bears
• Kraft card stock
• 1 1/2 inch Circle Punch
• 1 3/4 inch Heart Punch
• Adhesive
• Alphabet Stamps
• Ink Pad
• Hole Punch
• Red/White Bakers Twine

First, fill your mason jar with cinnamon bears. Since these are red, they are kind of perfect for a Valentine’s gift. But use multi-colored gummy bears if you can’t find the cinnamon bears … any bears will work 🙂

Then, you’ll need to make the bear shaped tag. I used two paper punches – a circle and a heart. (If you don’t have paper punches, you can just cut a bear head out of the kraft card stock.) To make my tag, I layered the circle on top of the heart until just the “humps” of the heart were showing to make the bear ears! Glue the two pieces together and you have your self a bear shaped tag!

Stamp the tag with the phrase “Love You Beary Much”. (Scroll down for alternate phrases to give this gift to friends and teachers!) Punch a small hole in the top of the bear tag and tie it around the jar with bakers twine.

That’s it! So simple, so sweet (literally) and an easy gift for the special people in your life for Valentine’s Day! Or any day, really!
