Mini Pine Tree in a Mason Jar
Have you seen the new 3D Floral Cratridge from Cricut? I’m in love. You can create all sorts of fun things with it. I made this cute little Pine Tree and placed it in a Mason Jar for my holiday mantel this year.
I’ve created this in Cricut Design Space. If you’d like to make one just head over and all the instructions are included there. It was really easy to put together.
You will need to cut the pine tree design twice so that your tree has some depth. Just layer the duplicate pieces so that they are together but the branches are off and not right on top of each other, like shown in the picture above.
Get some styrofoam ball and cut that in half. Make sure that you shape it to fit in the lip of the Mason Jar. Place a straightened paper clip in and start to layer a green paper straw and then a layer of the tree. Continue with this until you have reached the top. (Don’t you love that detail the Cricut Explore can cut?)
I love that last tree top sprig. So cute! Place this in a Mason Jar and you are all set.
A cute mini Pine Tree in a Mason Jar. All your friends are gonna want one, so you might as well make it as a gift.
Hi. It looks to me like the branches on this tree go the wrong direction. Should there be a circle/whole on the end of the branch? Shouldn’t the branches grow away from the center?
