New Year’s Eve Poppers are a fun project for kids to make to celebrate the New Year. We made these for our Noon Year’s Eve party and they were a hit. Easy to make with a few simple supplies you probably have around your house.
Every New Year’s Eve, or Noon Year’s Eve, party needs a fun DIY Craft Project. We had a few different projects for the kids to make included in our New Year’s Eve Kids’ Countdown Bags including these fun New Year’s Eve Poppers.
These are so simple to make and you probably already have most, if not all, of the supplies on hand to make them.
Here’s what you need to make your own New Year’s Eve Poppers:

- Small balloons: We used 7″ ones
- Craft Rolls. You could use toilet paper rolls, but these are available if that makes you cringe.
- Washi tape of various colors
- Small Pom Poms
Tie a knot in the end of the ballon and trim it open. Then stretch it to fit around one end of the craft roll.
Now let the kids decorate the craft roll with washi tape.
Now the kids can load the poppers up with mini pom-poms and they are ready to shoot.
The kids will have tons of fun shooting the mini pom-poms around.
