  1. I try to never respond negatively, but please tell me you don’t use the term “mocktails”: with kids. I’m an old lady and do remember how we bought candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars and imitated the adults around us. Seems very creepy now. The idea of offering a “mocktail” to a child elicits the same emotion. Why make a “drink” the star of the celebration?

Hope no one is offended. I think your site is wonderful and have enjoyed a number of your projects in the past.

    1. Hi Vicki,
I agree with you and we honestly don’t use that term with our kids at all. It’s more of a soda bar and it really isn’t the star of the show. Hopefully once the full party is on the site it will all make more sense. The title is more of a way for people to search for drink ideas in knowing that their isn’t alcohol involved. I honestly struggled with the title and went back and forth on the name. Thank you so much for your comment and honesty. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
