{Painting Pumpkins-Martha Stewart Style}

I had some fun painting pumpkins. I couldn’t wait to use my Martha Stewart Stencil kits (pictured below) from her new paint line. (Available now at Michael’s Craft stores–see my back to school projects using Martha’s new line HERE)  I love the damask patterns and monogram stencils. The polka-dot pumpkins were the easiest and turned out super cute!

To add the letters BOO on my big pumpkin, I first traced the letters onto the pumpkin and painted them in. You could even use a sharpie marker if that is easier.

To add polka-dots, I used Martha’s new pouncer sponges….this took merely seconds and I love how they turned out!

For a spooky touch…I glued on sparkly spiders…My kids LOVE this!

I also used the stencils to make a Monogram pattern on my white pumpkin. I love white pumpkins!

And my most favorite would have to be the two damask white pumpkins that sit on either side of my bench in the planters.

What are some fun ways you are decorating pumpkins this year? We would love to see!

    These are too fun! I love them all, but the monogram is my fave. I have a thing for them. The stencils look like great fun! 🙂
