Peachy Keen Dessert
Today I am sharing one of my husbands favorite desserts. He begs for this dessert any time he sees peaches. In fact the name for this dessert in my Grandma’s cookbook is actually Peach Ice Box Dessert, but my hubby renamed it Peachy Keen Dessert so that’s what I’ll call it here. It is super easy to make so here goes.
You will need: 6-8 large peaches, peeled and chopped 1 can of sweetened condensed milk 1 carton of Cool Whip 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice (I cheated and used the concentrate instead) 2 ready pie graham crustsFirst off mix your sweetened condensed milk, Cool Whip, and lemon juice together.
Once you get that mixed well, add your peaches.
Then pour your mixture into your pie shells. You could also use mini pie shells to make personal serving portions. Or make your own graham cracker crust and pour all of this into a 9×13 pan.
Refrigerate for at least a half hour, but I think it’s best to set over night.
And there you have it. A tasty peach dessert. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Our family loves peaches. This looks delicious – will have to try. Thanks for sharing it.
Sounds wonderful!
I can’t wait to try this – it looks sooo yummy : )
I am excited to make this for my family. I would love to know what size Cool Whip to use. 🙂
Looks yummy and easy to make too. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you for sharing.
Is it a regular 8oz thing of cool whip? Or the bigger size? Thanks
Yes just the regular 8oz size. Enjoy!
This is also good as a layered dessert with vanilla wafers.
