Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holders
Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holders are an easy DIY that look cute on your Thanksgiving kids table!
Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holders
Thanksgiving dinner can last for hours and little people can get really bored. There’s a reason restaurants hand out coloring sheets and crayons to kids while they wait. These fun Pilgrim Hat Crayon Holders are the perfect addition to the kids table at Thanksgiving dinner. Whether they are waiting to begin eating, or listening to everyone share what they are thankful for a few crayons and a coloring page will help pass the time.
Psst…even adults will enjoy passing the time with a little bit of coloring.
To make you’ll need black cups and dessert plates. I picked these up at the dollar store, so you know this project is inexpensive! You’ll also need 1 inch strips of paper to wrap around the cups as well as some squares to use as the buckles.
Step 1: Cut the bottom out of the cup.
Step 2: Cut the inner circle out of the plate.
Step 3: Glue the paper strip and buckle onto the cup.
Step 4: Hot glue the cup to the circle.
Add crayons and you are done! The cup is a little deep for the crayons to poke over the top, so I added some paper towels to the bottom. It is light weight and makes grabbing the crayons so much easier! I bought this class pack of crayons (affiliate) of 832 crayons last year for a church party-and I never plan on running out of crayons ever again! (It’s almost embarrassing how happy that huge box of crayons makes me.)
Place them down the middle of our Thanksgiving Coloring Tablecloth for the perfect kids table activity at your Thanksgiving feast.
