Printable Nativity Scripture Cards

Use these Printable Nativity Scripture Cards to help make the story of the nativity come alive for your children. The free printable scripture passages will bring the story into their hearts.

As a mom, I’m always trying to find a way to bring Christ into Christmas. With the busi-ness of the season, everyone making up gift lists and shopping till we drop, it’s hard to find the time to really pause and remember why we are celebrating in the first place.

I decided that our family needed a Nativity Story Advent. Some way to really pause and remember. I wanted to add in scriptures so that we could really learn the story. Each scripture verse talks about the Christmas story and the birth of Jesus as well as encouraging our family to look beyond themselves this year.

Here is what you’ll need to make your own Printable Nativity Scripture Cards:

Step 2:

Wrap up the Mini Nativity in a few different pieces. I like using the Red Tissue Paper because you can mold it to the nativity pieces easier and also provides a good cushion for them. You could use wrapping paper if you choose.

Step 3:

This activity can be done anyway you’d like. Here are a couple suggestions on how we have used it in our home.

Give the wrapped nativity to a child and explain that they get to explore the story of the nativity. They can open and read the free printable scripture cards at their own pace.

You could also do this as a family activity and take turns reading the scripture cards and opening up nativity pieces.

Step 4:

Set aside time each night leading up to Christmas to open another piece of the nativity and build your nativity piece by piece.
