Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies

Take these Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies to your next holiday party – they are so simple to make!

Candy Cane Hershey Kisses are one of my favorite holiday candies! The peppermint combined with white chocolate is absolutely delicious and I know for a fact that they are even more delicious when combined with chocolate, like in my Candy Cane Brownies. I tried a couple different recipes for the chocolate cookie, but couldn’t get the cookies to not go completely flat, so in the end I used my trusty Cake Mix Cookie Recipe.

Use a 1 TBSP dough scoop to place dough on a baking sheet lined with a baking mat. (aff links) Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Once the cookies are baked, add an unwrapped Candy Cane Kiss to the center of each cookie, pressing down. The Kisses will melt a little and become one with the cookie. This is a great time to get your kids involved in the cookie making process. Move cookies to a cooling rack and let cool completely. The Kisses will need to cool and harden completely before you can plate and stack the cookies.
