This Hello Kitty DIY Candy Dish is a fun way to dress up any treat. These are perfect for a party and make a fun DIY project for kids.

What birthday party is complete without candy? This Hello Kitty Birthday Party we styled wasn’t short on sugar that’s for sure. But it sure made for a sweet party.

We turned these adorable clear round favor containers into the lovable Hello Kitty. And it’s so super easy, you can do it too.

Here’s what you’ll need to make Hello Kitty DIY Candy Dishes:

Seriously, only these 3 items! Like I said, super easy!

Start by putting the White Sixlets into the Clear Round Favor Containers.

Grab some scissors and start to cut out the foam.

Cut 6 small lines to make whiskers for each side of her face.

Add a yellow oval nose, so everyone knows this is Hello Kitty and not her sister.

Next, cut out some oval shaped black foam eyes.

Now you’ll want to add some white kitty ears. Just make a rounded triangle for these.

Now for Hello Kitty’s bow. We used pink foam for her bow because our party was mostly pink. But Hello Kitty is known to wear a few different colors of bow. So you can choose to make the bow match your party, or just use your favorite color.

Now you are ready to make a few more Hello Kitty DIY Treat Dishes. The kids will love getting these as a fun take away from the party.
