Hot Chocolate Singles::Bloggers Best 12 Days of Christmas

day3

Happy holidays Crafting Chicks fans! My name is Tauni and I am so happy to be sharing an easy gift idea with you today.

Snow Day 640

I run a conference for craft and DIY bloggers called Snap. The event now keeps me pretty busy year round, but I also slip in a few fun posts here and there on my blog.

I love creating handmade gifts for others, but when you have a large group it can get a little pricey. This year, I wanted to continue to create something from scratch, but I needed a more affordable approach. So I took my tried and true peppermint hot chocolate recipe and created a single serving to go! These Hot Chocolate Singles are simple and fun to put together!

Hot chocolate singles created using a homemade hot chocolate recipe for just 50 cents a piece.

These little hot chocolate singles are so much cuter than a candy bar and way more fun than the traditional cookie or treat.

I found these clear plastic tubes at Pebbles in My Pocket. They’re the perfect size for one serving of hot cocoa and the length gives them some presence.

Once I found the right container, I simply mixed up a full batch of homemade peppermint hot chocolate and filled them. I topped the end off with some mini marshmallows and added a little tag.

Homemade single serving peppermint hot chocolate tubes. Perfect for classroom, work or neighbor gifts.

So easy to create and they make the perfect classroom, coworker or neighbor gift!
