Hi friends!
I’m Rachel from Fawn – Handcrafted Celebrations and I am thrilled to be here with you today. I’m a huge fan of silhouettes and I absolutely adore their timeless look and feel. You can add a fun Halloween twist on the classic silhouette by using a spooky witch hat to make an little witch silhouette. This project is so fun and easy, it’s scary! (sorry, I couldn’t resist..)
Let’s get started!
Have your child stand in front of a white background wearing a witch hat ( I got mine from Dollar Tree) and snap a photo. Since I was using a 5×7 frame, I printed my photo out at 4×6 so it would fit in the frame with room to spare.
Cut out the photo….
……and trace it onto black paper.
Cut out the traced black paper and flip it over. I attached a little Halloween bow to her ponytail for a little extra cuteness. Adhere the silhouette to a 5×7 piece of white cardstock and place in the frame.
And there you have it!
A classic silhouette with a little Halloween twist.
