I am so excited to be sharing here at The Crafting Chicks for their Mother Hen Summer Survival Guide! What a great idea to offer so many awesome resources to keep the kiddos busy, engaged and learning over the summer. As a former long-time, First grade teacher, I can tell you how important this is! I am part of the week that is focused on the book “Me On The Map” which is such a great book to give kids a better perspective of how they fit into the world.

I have a printable booklet for you that will help to make the text more relatable for your child. You may need to help younger children, which is a great excuse to go to the library or use the internet together. That my friends, is a win win for you both!
