{Paris Bakeshop Party- Grand Finale}

{Abby’s Paris Bakeshop Party}

DIY Paris Bakeshop Birthday Party

I have been sharing parts of this bakeshop party this week and here is the grand finale with all of the details:)  I LOVED this party…a ton of work…but probably the cutest party I’ve thrown…the little girls were adorable and loved the fun activities and decorating their mini cakes. Plus, they looked so cute in their mini aprons and chef hats. Such a cute party idea for little girls!

I received a ton of inspiration from PINTEREST! Who doesn’t?! Here is my Pinterest Page:  Crafty Jamie’s Pinterest Page  I added a lot of pins to my party section including ideas I used for this party. I have to give credit to the amazing sites that inspired me! Particularly ONE CHARMING PARTY…LOVE Brittney and her amazing site. And this BAKING PARTY….AMAZING!

Hopefully these photos help you get a good idea! It was a blast…I was one tired mama! XO

{The Invites}

I made the invites in photoshop…used turquoise, pink and black…the colors for the party.

The inside said:

“Come & Get Your Sweet-Tooth Fix”

Abby is Turning 6!

I used bakers twine from Orson Gygi (pink) and Pick Your Plum (blue) to tie mini cookie cutters (from Hobby Lobby) on the front.

 {The Aprons & Chef Hats}

When each girl arrived, they put on a mini apron, Details Here:  Bandanna Apron Tutorial

& a paper chef hat.

We made cupcake flowers and glued buttons in the center to add some flare. They looked so cute all dressed up and ready to bake!

{The Decorations}

I loved the colors…pink, turquoise and black.

I found this adorable cake on a cake stand image to use for the framed cake art below and other things.

I also used some Eiffel towers to decorate the tables below.

Banners and Pennants!

I picked up these ADORABLE paper sacks at PICK YOUR PLUM! LOVE these. I made banners with these. They were already the perfect size so it saved so much time using these instead of paper. I added Abby’s name to the polka dot one and mini Eiffel towers to the pink and black chevron banner.

I used adorable polka-dot PICK YOUR PLUM cupcake liners for the garland for my staircase (above). I just used a needle and thread to string the liners on and added some ribbon when I tied it on the staircase.

I used pink and black lanterns and pink tissue paper balls to add some more pizzazz.

For the tables, I found these cute damask and polka-dot plates at Walmart and just added some pink and blue on top.

I found mini rolling pins at Hobby Lobby (I painted the ends blue-they were red), and added a name tag with bakers twine for the place cards.

{The Treats}

I set up a little “Pastry Shop” buffet table to display the treats/cupcakes.

Mini Eiffel Tower chocolates-these were a hit. I found my mold at Orson Gygi. Such a great find to tie into the party. We handed these out for the bingo prize:)

Some fun ideas for the pastry buffet were…mini danish, mini eclairs, pastry shells with whipped cream and raspberries and of course cupcakes!

I used the same cake stand image for the cupcake toppers. The cupcake liners were from Pick your Plum.

{Fun & Games}

During the party, we played a few fun games. The girls loved it!

Baking Bingo (click on the link for the free download-Personal use only:)

Pass the Package- I’m not sure the name of this game, but it was hilarious! The girls had to put on mini oven mits and then try and open a wrapped package with just a butter knife and fork. They each had 30 seconds to try and unwrap the surprise!

Cake Walk- This was so fun! I played 80’s girly songs as the girls walked around numbers-(that I placed in a circle around the tables). When we stopped the music, I called out a number and whomever landed on that number got a prize. We just did this until all the girls got their prize…much better than musical chairs!
