White Chocolate Blossoms
White Chocolate Blossoms – these darling sweet treats are made with white chocolate candy melts and an M&M center. Perfect for Easter, spring, birthdays, showers, and more.
Hello there! It’s Katie from The Casual Craftlete blog. Spring is in the air and today I am so excited to share these White Chocolate Blossoms with you. They are made with just two ingredients and a super cute flower ice cube tray that I bought at IKEA for $0.99. These blossoms are so easy to make and are just the most adorable sweet treat ever. They are perfect for Easter and Spring!
For these White Chocolate Blossoms, you will need:
Ingredients:
- 1 Bag of White Chocolate Candy Melts
- M&M Candy
Tools:
- 1 Flower Ice Cube Tray
- Lollipop Stick *optional
Start by melting the white chocolate candy melts by following the instructions on the package. I used the microwave method. I placed the entire bag of melts into a 2 cup glass Prex measuring cup. Microwave at 50% for 1 minute. Stir the candy melts and place back in the microwave. Heat at 50% for an additional 30 seconds or until the candy melts are completely melted and runny.
Once the white chocolate candy melts are completely melted, pour into the flower ice cube tray filling each mold to the top. If you make a mess like I did, just wipe off any excess with a towel. No big deal. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer for 15 minutes. You will have left over chocolate which is what you need for the next step.
After the white chocolate blossoms have been in the freezer for 15 minutes, remove from the freezer and pop them out of the ice cube tray. Use the extra melted white chocolate to “glue” one M&M to the center of each blossom. I had lollipop sticks on hand that I used but you can just use a butter knife. Just place a little of the melted white chocolate on the M&M side with the M on it and place in on the center of blossom. Pop the blossoms into the refrigerated until firm.
I seriously can not get over how cute these white chocolate blossoms are. They would be perfect for a garden party, birthday party, wedding shower, baby shower or just a cute treat to make on the weekends. I love how easy this recipe is. You just need two ingredients and they take no time to make. Plus, you can never go wrong with two kinds of chocolate!
Thank you for letting me share my White Chocolate Blossoms with you today! I love when a recipe and craft come together like this one. I hope you enjoy these sweet treats as much as my family and I did. Happy Spring!
