Holly Jolly Cookie Sticks
Happy holidays, friends! We are closing in on Christmas and these easy, no bake Holly Jolly Cookie Sticks are a delicious way to celebrate the season!
Keri from Shaken Together here and I’m sure it’s no surprise that I am back with another easy peasy no bake treat! I love to bake and cook, don’t get me wrong. But I take great pleasure in putting together something delicious that is done from start to finish in less than 15 minutes! And these cute Holly Jolly Cookie Sticks certainly fit the bill!
Bonus – there are only 3 ingredients!!
- Pirouette French Vanilla Cookies
- Vanilla Candiquik
- Holly Sprinkles
First, prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Heat the Candiquik according to package directions.
Use a spoon to spoon melted Candiquik onto the cookie sticks – make sure to leave about 1 1/2 inches of the cookie stick with no chocolate so you can handle the cookie sticks.
I used tweezers to place the holly sprinkles on the cookie sticks, but they’re not required. It just made it a little easier to see where I was placing the sprinkles. I love the detail on the holly leaves and the bright red berries!
Once all of the Holly Jolly Cookie Sticks are decorated, allow them to set. You can pop the sheet tray in your refrigerator to speed up the setting.
Serve these with coffee or cocoa at your holiday parties and your guests will rave over the crispy cookie sticks filled with vanilla cream and covered in festive holly sprinkles!
Holly Jolly Cookie Sticks would make a pretty addition to your holiday cookie platter, too!
And they make SUCH cute gifts! Just slide a cookie stick into a cellophane pretzel bag and tie it closed with red/white twine.
I can’t wait to see you all in the New Year … hope your holidays are merry, your family blessed and your time together absolutely wonderful!
More delicious holiday treats!
These are super cute! And I like how you used those cookies instead of the traditional pretzel rods! Great post!
Where did you find the tiny holly and berries ? These are very festive
.
You can find them at craft stores during the holidays. But here is an Amazon link where you can snag them today if you want. https://amzn.to/2Hpk6jV
Very cute! Do you think these would freeze well?
If too late to get leaves & berries, one can use sprinkles, instead.
