Felt Celebrate Banner

Felt Celebrate Banner sm banner 11 I had the funnest time making this sweet & fancy CELEBRATE banner. I love banners for anything…any holiday or occasion. This is the perfect banner to pull out for any occasion…even when your kids get an A on their spelling test! Ha!

I love working with felt. With this felt craft, I used my new hot glue gun from Elmers, and the less mess hot glue sticks. Game changer with felt I tell you! Before, all of my felt projects would have those stringy glue strands…all over! I spent an hour picking off the glue strings. With these new Hot Glue sticks…there wasn’t one string! It made the crafting process much more enjoyable:)sm banner 8 To make this Gold & Felt Celebrate banner, you will need:

-3 pieces of white stiff felt (9×12)

Elmers (less mess) Glue Sticks and Glue Gun

-Gold ribbon or twine

-Sparkly chipboard letters (I used my Cricut to cut out the gold letters that spell CELEBRATE)sm banner 3 First, cut each felt piece into 4 1/2 x 6 inch rectangles. You will need 9 of them.sm banner 1 At the bottom, cut out a triangle shape to make the pennant. Do this for all of the rectangles.sm banner 2 Using the hot glue gun, glue the sparkly gold letters on each banner piece.sm banner 4 Now, glue the gold cording on the top of each banner piece. Space the white pennants about 1 inch apart.sm banner 5 sm banner 6 Let dry for a few minutes.sm banner 7 sm banner 9 Now! Hang and enjoy and celebrate!!
