July 4th Farmhouse Free Printable
Sweet, sweet summer time is here! (Basically) And July 4th is right around the corner. This holiday (and maybe Valentine’s and Christmas-ha!) is my favorite holiday. Ok, my favorite summer holiday. It’s ok to have a favorite one for each season, right? 🙂 Sure it is. I love adding decorative touches to my home for each holiday. I usually don’t splurge too much though. Just a few added touches. So, today I am sharing a free to you July 4th Sweet Land of Liberty printable. YAY! Well, you’ll have to print it out or take it to a print/office supply shop and enlarge it but it’s pretty much, cost wise–next to nothin’ (as they say).
Here is what I did for a little added 4th of July Farmhouse decor.
First of all, I started with the print. You can download it from HERE. This is a pdf you can save to your computer and print or save to a flash drive and take it to a print shop.
Then, I took it to Office Max/Depot. I asked for an engineered print and they said “sure” but that their policy had changed and since it wasn’t a true engineering print, it was the cost of a poster (which confused me but ok. ha!). Which actually wasn’t bad –$12 so I still had them print it. I think the scale of the print makes a huge impact I was wanting to create so I continued on (24×36).
Then, I clipped it with clothespins to a small wooden circular dowel. I found this at my local craft store.
And lastly, I hot glued the bottom edge of the print to a rectangular dowel. This was easy since the sides of the dowel are flat. The print has something to stick too.
Tie jute rope to the ends of the dowel and voila. Done and done!
I found the patriotic banner from Target and the runner from Hobby Lobby. Added some flags to my flowers and area complete.
I hope you can use this printable. Print small or large! Happy July 4th! ~April
