The perfect chore chart for older kids.  Daily List Chore Chart for Kids keeps them on task and gives them motivation get everything done.

There are a few times during the year that I long for routine. Back to school is a huge one for me. Wether it’s at the end of summer, or after a school break, this mom is ready for life to get back to normal.

I made these chore charts to help make my life easier. I tire of barking orders at the kids and love having a way for them to know what needs to be done. If they ask if they can play, I simply refer them to this Daily List Chore Chart. I don’t even have to answer because they know if they can play or not. It works like a charm, most days.

I found a template like this on Pinterest. I searched for ever trying to find the source. No luck. So I decided to design my own. I made the colors match our other chore charts and Age Appropriate Chores List.

I only have girls at my house, so I started out making the girl version.

Then tried my hand at a boy version. Crossing my fingers that it works ok for them as well.

After I printed mine out, I laminated them and use a Sharpie or dry erase marker to write on them. To erase the Sharpie, you just need to use rubbing alcohol. I usually have some hand sanitizer nearby and use that.

You can laminate as well, or just use a pen or pencil to write in the jobs.

  1. I like the simplicity of the daily list. Also, I was searching for a list that didn’t list “brush teeth” before “eat breakfast”…yours was the only one I spotted! I must be training my kids out of order!?

  2. I really love the ideals that you have I think this would work perfectly for my kids to actually help clean up and get rewarded at the same time and less stress for me my eight soon to be 9-year-old and my 11 soon to be 12-year-old is a handful all by theirselves so I think this would be perfect thank you for the idea.
