These Valen-Slimes are an easy and creative non-candy Valentine idea, perfect for classrooms and classmates. Plus, we’ve got a free printable valentine card to make gifting even easier!

Elmer’s Washable School Glue (white or clear, not glue sticks)
Plastic containers or slime containers (we used short jars)
Baking soda
Saline solution (contact solution)
Red and pink paint (optional for color)
Silver glitter
Heart confetti (red, pink, and gold)
Sequins (for extra sparkle!)
Ribbon (red and pink)
Glue dots
Scissors

Printer & regular printer paper (or white cardstock for sturdier cards)

How to Make Regular or Fluffy Slime for Valentine’s Day

STEP 1: Mix Up a Batch of Slime

Pour an entire bottle of Elmer’s Glue into a mixing bowl.

STEP 2: Add the Fun!

Time to make this slime extra special! Stir in red and pink paint, glitter, sequins, and heart confetti. You can even mix up different batches of slime to create fun color combos!

STEP 3: Activate the Slime

Add ½ tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of saline solution. Stir until the slime starts to form—it happens fast! Knead with your hands until you get the perfect squishy consistency.

Assembling Your Slime Valentine Card

STEP 4: Get Your Slime Containers Ready

Print the free printable valentine cards on regular printer paper or cardstock for a more durable tag. Use a paper cutter or scissors to cut out each printable valentine card.

STEP 5: Wrap & Decorate

Place a glue dot on one end of the printable label, wrap it around your slime container, and secure the other end with another glue dot.
